She picked them out herself. She definitely didn’t go for subtle. =)
I love how they look a little like the cats eye glasses from the 50’s.

Deryn’s glasses are sort of like these. They’re black straight on, but pink behind. Very cute. We let her pick hers out, too, and that’s what she wanted.
